True to the saying "The more things change, the more they stay the same", I'm back at square one. Of course I have to ask myself if I ever really left this square.
I know, you're probably wondering what the heck I'm talking about. H'kay, let me fill you in.
As you well know, my capstone project was originally going to be on how I don't know what the heck I'm going to do with my education once I graduate. I happily stumbled into managing Jen's art career during one fateful meeting at the Pelly and thought I found a capstone project that I could be passionate about.
Guess again...
I had my first capstone meeting this weekend and let's just say things didn't go as planned. I presented my capstone outline to my prof and group, and discussed what the journey has been like for me thus far. I talked about what I've learned over the past few months as well as my personal trials and tribulations as the manager of an artist.
It turns out the true essence of what I'm doing for my capstone is figuring out my career path. Sound familiar? Yeah, I thought so too.
The good news is that I will continue to manage Jen as I really love her art. The even better news is that I have an absolutely riveting topic for my capstone project: me!
Seriously though, it'll be good! In the meantime, anyone got a compass?
